Project planning

The scope of a project planning is regulated in the "Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers" (Honorarordnung für Architekten- und Ingenieurleistungen - HOAI). Project planning e.g. according to Part 3, §34 “Service profiles of buildings and interiors” comprises the following nine service phases: basic evaluation, preliminary planning, draft planning, approval planning, execution planning, award preparation, assisting with the awarding process, project monitoring – construction supervision and documentation, project supervision.
